Hello and welcome! This is The Enlightened Illumineers podcast. If you'd like to learn the finer details about the new trading card game called Disney Lorcana, be up to date with the latest news and meta, eventually when we get there, this is the podcast for you. I am your host, Trey. Online, you might also know me as Cabled. In this episode, I'll be going over the anatomy of an actual Disney Lorcana card. I'll also go over all the current Amber and Amethyst cards, the latest news, which we got three new cards, a little pamphlet and early development code name. Then at the end, it'll be the Glimmer Gallery section, which will go over Cruella De Vil this time. I do want to go over a few little things that I missed out on the first episode that everyone definitely needs to know. One is I completely forgot to mention when the game is actually launching. The game first is going to launch on August 18th at your local game stores and September 1st at big box stores. So think Target, Walmart, and maybe even Barnes and Nobles, because I know Pokémon sells there sometimes. The first time to actually be able to buy product is at GenCon Indy, which is August 3rd through the 6th. My fiancée Brittany and I will actually be going to GenCon, and I'm very excited, obviously, for Disney Lorcana, but Brittany also really likes board games, so we'll definitely split off and then also join together on any adventures we take there. In GenCon, there is no word if there's going to be any kind of exclusives at GenCon or what the specific product will be there. I'm excited to buy product there two weeks early and actually going to be able to play the game physically. Personally, I think they will only be selling the starter decks and the Illumineers Trove. I don't expect them to actually sell booster boxes. I think they want to do kind of like a more structured, "You're going to get this". Even though that the starter deck and the Troves do have booster packs inside of them, it seems more likely that they will not sell booster boxes. And I think my idea would be maybe one starter deck a day and one Trove a day. Or maybe it's like you can buy two items and you can buy two different starter decks one day, and then the next day buy one Starter deck and one Trove. Going back to the August 18th launch day at local game stores and then two weeks later at big box stores. This kind of reminds me of Pokémon prereleases. Where two weeks before the official launch date. They do little events at local game stores to open a build and battle deck and a few packs, and you can make a deck and battle it out. And that gives product early to local game stores before any other places have it. And that's exactly what something I would like for Disney Lorcana and how they should handle their organized play system. One thing that I slightly misspoke about in the last episode was about Disney tattoos. You could technically consider one of my tattoos being a Disney tattoo. I have a wizard hat on my inner left arm, and this wizard hat is in representation for one of my cats, Merlin, and it's supposed to be Merlin's wizard hat. I got this tattoo of this wizard hat, At the same time, Brittany also got a tattoo, crown, in reference to Arthur Pendragon, which is also one of our other cats. But funny enough, there is Sword in the Stone by Disney and Merlin's in it. It's not the same exact designed hat, but one could argue that I do technically have a Disney tattoo, which I just think that's kind of funny. But in my eyes, it's not a Disney tattoo with Merlin being one of my cats. We actually have four cats, and they're all named after the Knights of the Round Table. So we have Arthur, Merlin, Percival, and Lancelot. I love these guys to death. They're the greatest. They're basically my children. With all that intro out of the way, let's get to the main topic of this podcast episode. One major thing about trading card games is knowing the anatomy of an actual card. In this episode, the main topic is going to be what is a Lorcana TCG card? I'll be looking at the website Lorcania.com under the Rules section and under the Card Structure tab. Thanks to @Whippet_Plays, they made this nice graphic using the Stitch card. I will also be showing this graphic on the YouTube video. First, we'll start at the top left at the resource Cost. On this example for Stitch, it has a six cost, and then there's two parts to the cost. There is a hexagon border, and then around that hexagon border, we've been calling it the Flourish. I'll show an example with Dragonfire how it does not have the Flourish, and it just has a hexagon with five cost. Again, we're not sure what this actually means, and right now we only have 3 out of 18 cards without the Flourish. Next is just the card art, and I actually really liking this card art, and I can't wait to see more. Next is the ink color banner on this one for Stitch, it's Amber or the yellow color. On the left side of the ink banner is the character name with the character variant or subtitle or what I've been referring to it as the style. We're not sure what the actual correct terminology for this is, so you can use what you like to use. On the right side of that is the Attack or Power, the one that has the symbol and the spikes and the number in the middle which Stitch has three, and then next to that is Defense or Toughness, and it's a shield with a number in the middle which Stitch has five. Below the ink banner is the ink symbol. I believe that this is just for colorblind people so that they can reference a symbol for colors instead of having to actually rely on colors. To the right of that is their traits or their types. The first one I've been calling the subtype because each card has a born, so there's Storyborn, Dreamborn, and Floodborn. This Stitch is a Floodborn after the subtype, after the Borns, are the attributes and for Stitch this is Hero and Alien. Other cards can have Ally, Villain, Prince, Princess, etc... It does seem like there is mechanics with these subtraits. For example giving Hades one extra Lore pip for all Villains on the board. Below these traits is where you'll be able to find any of the abilities or keywords. For example, Stitch has this shift ability, can pay four of Hexagon and we don't know what this Hexagon resource is yet. And shift four is cheaper than its initial cost at the top left being six. All Floodborn characters have this shift mechanic to be able to lay it on top of one of your other named cards. For example, this says you may pay four resource to play this on top of one of your characters named Stitch. Stitch's next ability is ADORING FANS. Whenever you play a character with cost two or less, you may exert them. Exert meaning tap, turn it 90 degrees, and draw card. We're not sure exactly how exert or tap functions in Lorcana yet, but in other games like Magic the Gathering, when you tap a character, it cannot attack, defend or use an ability. And for Lorcana's sake, it might be you can't defend or you can't go on quests or also not use an ability. Some cards have one ability, some have two, and some can even have zero abilities. If a card has zero abilities in the Tcg world, that's usually considered a vanilla character, and that's the baseline to compare two other cards. For example, Olaf is a one cost Amethyst card with one attack, three defense and no ability. Comparing that to Elsa as a three cost, two attack, three defense. Elsa only has one attack and the same exact defense, but being two more cost to summon this Glimmer character can translate to Elsa's ability actually being a very good ability, and that makes up for her cost being two more than Olaf while only having one more attack. Below the abilities is a separation line from the flavor text or the character background. There's actually two different types of separation lines one that looks like a pen and one that looks like a book. We have five cards with this book design, one being an item card, the Magic Mirror, one an action card, which is the Healing Glow. And we have three glimmer character cards. They are Olaf, Jumba Jaookiba, and Robin Hood. Like most things, we don't know what this means. It could all just be aesthetics, I believe too small of a feature on a card to be anything mechanic wise, but we'll just have to wait for Spring to actually know what it means. And then below this separation line is, like I said, the flavor text or the character background. And this has no game mechanics, but it does bring life to the cards and ties it back into the Disney story. On the right of this main box, below the art, which is separated with little triangles and has a lighter shade of yellow to have a little separation in this area, what we used to call is pips, with a pretty high confidence of calling these Lore. We believe that this is the win con of the game. And Stitch, for example, has three Lore pips. We're not sure how to gain these Lore pips. If it's just on the board you have them, if you have to send them on a quest to gain Lore, which is a quote from the creators. Below that on the left is the artist, the set number. So stitch is number 23 out of 204 for the whole set. This card has English, but there will be French and German at the start, and they have said that there will be other languages supported as well. In the middle is the rarity, and these are unconfirmed, which is which. The circle one is Common. The one that we've been referring to as a book with two pointed edges is Uncommon. The triangle that's bronzish color is Rare. This diamond or turned around, the square, that silver, is Super Rare. And this hexagon, that's gold, is legendary. And finally, at the bottom right of the card is the game and the copyright symbol from Disney. Let's go back to the three different borns. There's the Storyborn, Dreamborn and Floodborn. If you take a look at Robin Hood, it looks exactly like what it was in Robin Hood The movie. Then on the next one, when we go to a Dreamborn character, for example, Elsa. Elsa has this book and also the flavor text. says that she's in a different world, but good thing that Ice works the same. In the normal Frozen 1 and Frozen 2 movies, Elsa does not have a book. That's clearly not a one to one direct rendition of Elsa for Frozen. So it's definitely some kind of Dreamborn esque. We're not 100% sure exactly what Dreamborn means. It could be in a different world, it could be a different universe, but I like to leave that for Floodborn. It could even mean in the past or even in the future. And finally, there's the Floodborn. And these are the alternate realities. For example, Hades is king of Olympus, but Hades was never king of Olympus. And he has some crazy goldy locks, flowing hair. If you look at a Storyborn/ Dreamborn compared to a Floodborn, it doesn't have the hexagon around the ink symbol. And then there's a lot of black ink in the separation between the name of the card and the abilities. I believe that's just aesthetic design being something crazy. Maybe the ink being spilled on the canvas and that's what they're going to do to describe it. Give it some little PR fluff. Going back to the Cost resource at the top left. Each Glimmer or character card can have the flourish or not flourish on the card. For example, comparing this Floodborn stitch with this Floodborn Hades, in addition to Glimmer or character type cards, there is item cards and action cards. So far, we've only seen one item card, and this one is the Magic Mirror, from the previous episode. It does not have the flourish. And we're not sure if all item cards do not have flourish, or it might be the same ratio of not a lot of cards will not have the flourish. Like I said in the previous episode, these item cards look like artifacts from Magic which once played, they might stay on the board forever unless removed from a different card event. One cool thing about item cards that we don't know yet or if it will even be in the game, is you can have item cards that permanently stay on the board, or you can have item cards attached to your characters. And that's one thing that Pokémon does, and some other games do that as well. One example I'd like to see is a frying pan. That could actually be two costs that will give maybe one attack or one attack and one extra defense, and you can attach this to a Rapunzel or any of your characters. Next card type is an action card, and these seem like a one time use spell card. So far we have two action cards, and one is Dragonfire, and one is Healing Glow from last week's episode as well. And Dragonfire does not have the flourish. While Healing Glow does have the flourish, that should be pretty much everything about Disney Lorcana's card and the anatomy of them. Hopefully I explained everything well, and if not, please let me know! There are still so many questions we have about Disney Lorcana until we get the gameplay and the rules, but we can start comparing other cards within Lorcana just to see how good a card may or may not be. They're definitely not going to be accurate, but we can get a few good guesses here and there. Now that I've gone over the anatomy of the cards, we can start going over all the cards that we've seen so far in this episode. I'll go over all Amber and Amethyst cards, the yellow and purple. The first one is Stitch, which we've gone over, but I'll reiterate it again. Stitch is an Amber Card. It's a six cost with the flourish. The name of the card is Stitch - Rock Star. It has three Attack and five Defense. This Stitch is a Floodborn with the attributes Hero and Alien. This stitch has two abilities. The shift four. You may pay four resource to play this on top of one of your other characters named Stitch. The second ability is ADORING FANS. Whenever you play a character with the cost two or less, you may exert it to draw a card. It's flavor text below that is."The best part about Beachside Concert is that there's always room for one more." On the right, this Stitch has three Lore pips. The artist is Simangaliso Sibaya. Hopefully I did not butcher that name, and I'm sorry if I did. Stitch is set number 23 out of 204. Its rarity symbol is the Super Rare, which is the silver diamond one. At a quick glance with this Stitch, you can somewhat infer that there will be no Summoning Sickness. And Summoning Sickness is a Magic the Gathering term where you play a card on a turn, it cannot attack that same turn. With Stitch's ADORING FANS ability. If you tap something or exert it to draw an extra card, and if there is Summoning Sickness, there is possibly really no downside at all to always drawing a card with this Stitch. So in my eyes this leads to there being no actual Summoning Sickness, but we'll just have to wait and see. Also with this ADORING FANS' ability, this might lead Stitch to being a Zoo type deck archetype. And Zoo meaning you lay down a bunch of small guys to try to win fast. And if you're playing a bunch of two costs to draw cards, you're going to be flooding the board with all your characters or your Glimmers. The next card we have is Hades. He is an Amber card with an eight cost and no flourish. He's Hades - King of Olympus with six attack and seven defense. He's Floodborn with the attributes Villain, King and Deity. His shift ability is six. His second ability is SINISTER PLOT. This character gets plus one Lore pip for every other Villain character you have in play. On the right, he naturally has one Lore pip. Hades' flavor tech reads, "Oh hey, I'm going to need new business cards." The illustrator is Alex Accorsi. Hades is set number 5 out of 204 and it has the Rare as the rarity symbol, the triangle bronze one. Hades being such a high cost at eight and a very good ability, he could be seen as a "boss monster" of a deck. That term I believe is originated from Yu-Gi-Oh, meaning this is your main archetype winning character or card in the deck. And once you have it out, most likely you're going to win or it's going to be very hard for your opponent to take it out and stop you from winning. If you have a ton of Villains out, we don't know if there's going to be a board size limit, but easily if you have five other Villains out, plus this Hades, this Hades itself is going to have six Lore pips on it. And again, we don't know how many Lore we're going to need to win, but six is a lot. Even if the win con is 10 Lore, or if the wind con is 20. I could completely see this Hades card being a full deck on its own and I'm very excited to try it out. Next and last Amber Card is Healing Glow. Healing Glow is an action card. It's a one cost with the flourish and it has the ability remove up to two damage from chosen character. And the flavor text says, "Don't freak out! Rapunzel". As you might have guessed, this card is from Rapunzel and it's her hair. The card is not fully revealed so we do not have it's artist and we do not know the set number it is. This doesn't seem like a very good card. We're not 100% sure how much damage is going to be left on cards and how much this two actually will matter. Like I said last episode, this might be a 58th or a 59th card in any Amber deck, so you might just throw them in. I know I said Healing Glow was the last Amber card, but we do have a speculation on another Amber card that's not been revealed yet, and that's on the starter deck, Moana. There's not much more than that, but I could see Moana being some kind of healing card as well, just because she fulfills an ancient quest of her ancestors to heal back their society. Moana could also be some type of defensive card since she's very heroic and brave and very high strung and doesn't take no for an answer. I could be completely wrong about this and I can't wait to be laughed out about it. Next up are the Amethyst cards. The first Amethyst card is Elsa. Elsa is a three cost with the flourish. And this one is Elsa - Snow Queen with two attack and three defense. She's a Dreamborn, Hero, Queen and Sorcerer for the attributes. She has one ability called FREEEZE and it has the Exert symbol. So you would exert or tap Elsa to do this ability. And this ability reads exert chosen opposing character. Her flavor text is, "Recreated by magical ink, Elsa found herself in an unfamiliar new world. Fortunately, Ice works the same way everywhere." She has one Lore pip to the right. The artist is Nicholas Kole. She is set number 41 out of 204 and it looks like she has the Uncommon rarity symbol, which is the book one. I am personally very excited about this Elsa card and it is most likely going to be the first deck I make. I am a control player at heart, and being able to tap any of your other opposing characters so they can't attack, defend or go on quest is exactly how I like to play. I know everyone likes to make fun of or really hate on control players, but that's just the type of player I am. I know it's not fun for the opponent, but it's fun for me. So sorry. Not sorry. The next Amethyst card is Olaf. He is a one cost with the flourish. This is Olaf - Friendly Snowman. It's a one attack and three defense. He's Storyborn and Ally. There is no ability on this card, so he's a vanilla card. The flavor text is, "I'm Olof and I like warm hugs!" Ravensburger likes to tease off cards with their logo at the bottom right, cutting off the card. So this Olaf card, we actually don't know if there's any Lore pips on him, but my guess is he will have at least one Lore pip. I don't think there's ever going to be any character cards without Lore pips, at least for the start, until they do make any abilities. Kind of like Hearthstone's Taunt, meaning if you attack your opponent's characters, you have to attack the Taunted characters first. But right now, all we know is that you have to go on quest to gain lore. And in my eyes, if you're summoning a bunch of Glimmers or characters, they should have at least one lower pip on it, then you can supplement with action or item cards to do any kind of tricks. Olaf was our first Ally card that we've seen, and I do hope there is some maybe item card that gives buffs to Allies, because right now this Olaf is very basic. But if it does have one Lore pip, you might be able to gain Lore pretty early and fast just because he has a high defense of three and some early costed cards don't have three attack, which this translates really well to being a control type card or just in general. This color is the control type since it has a higher defense start. Next card is Magic Mirror. Magic Mirror is a two cost with no flourish. It's an item card. Its ability is SPEAK! It has exert or tap pay for cost and draw a card. It's flavor text is, "What wouldst thou know, my Queen?" This card is also not fully revealed, so we do not have the illustrator and we do not have the set number. Like I said on the last episode, Magic Mirror is very hard to judge right now without the full context of the resource system. But in my eyes, I think this is going to be slightly better than what people think. Right now, we just really need to wait for Spring. But I'm excited for this just because it looks like a control type card with trying to get more cards in your hand. Just like Moana. We also have another Mickey card and this Mickey card is also on a starter deck with the Amethyst color. This Mickey looks like a Sorcerer Mickey. And sorcery and the color Amethyst, it obviously sounds like a control card. There's definitely no indication on what this card could actually be. I'm not sure exactly how or what kind of mechanic it will have, but in the background art of this Mickey, there's a bunch of paintbrushes holding color for Amethyst. Next Amethyst card is actually the perfect transition to go into our news this week. We were actually given three new cards from Ravensburger spread out between their social media pages on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. The first card, which is the Amethyst card, is The Wardrobe, and this is a three cost with the flourish. Name is The Wardrobe - Bella's Confidant. Has three attack and four defense. It's a Dreamborn, Ally. There's actually no abilities on this card as well, so it's also a vanilla card. It's flavor text is, "When you simply must have the hottest contours." Like Olaf, the Ravensburger logo is hiding the pip location, so we don't know how many Lore Pips are on this card. My guess would be one, since it's a vanilla card, but 100% not sure. In addition to that, we don't know the artist and we don't know the set number. I do like vanilla cards just to give us the baseline on what card should look like represented in each color. The next card is Scar, and Scar is a Sapphire or blue card. He's a six cost with the flourish. His name is Scar - Mastermind. Scar has five attack and four defense. He is Storyborn Villain with the ability INSIDIOUS PLOT. When you play this character chosen opposing character gets negative five attack this turn. Its flavor text is, "The best plans involve a little danger. Just not for me." And I really think that flavor text is spot on for Scar. Like all new cards, we don't know the Lore pip on this, and I toss between two and one Lore pips. If it's two, I feel like this is a very broken card and perfect for any control deck, which I'm excited about. But if it's one Lore pip, I still think it's a perfectly good card and should be in most sapphire decks. Again, no Illustrator is known and no set number as well. Scar reminds me of my favorite card from the digital card game Legends of Runeterra, and that card is Ashe the champion. Aseh was a frostbite deck, and f,rostbite is change your opposing character's attack to zero, and every time Ashe swung in for an attack, it would frostbite the strongest enemy character. This is not a one to one direct translation for Scar, but it'll definitely be used in the same aspect to put your opponent's highest attacker to zero or close to zero and then take it out with something smaller and save your other characters so that they can gain Lore later. Next card is Aladdin, which is Emerald or green. It's a two cost with the flourish. Its name is Aladdin - Prince Ali. That has two attack and two defense. Aladdin is Storyborn, Hero and Prince for the attributes. He has one ability, which is Ward. And Ward is opponents cannot choose this character except to challenge. Its flavor text reads, "Fabulously wealthy. Practically untouchable. Genuinely inauthentic." This flavor text is also very key to how Aladdin

actually is. :

ike all these new cards. The Ravensburger logo was covering up the Lore pip section, so we don't know how many this is on Aladdin. My guess would be one. And if it did have two, it would make this early two cost Aladdin very strong. We don't know the artist and we don't know the set number as well. What's nice about seeing this to cost Aladdin card is we can make a big assumption that this Aladdin card will be inside the Emerald and Ruby Starter deck, since we can see that Aladdin is Ruby on the starter deck image. So this could be the lower costed Aladdin to the Floodborn Aladdin. That would be a red color. In my card game experience, I don't know much about Ward itself. It seems mostly like a magic thing. And for example, I have been seeing a lot of people saying that this Aladdin card reminds them of Bogle deck for Magic. And that deck is usually filled with hexproof cards. And you start buffing all of those hexproof cards, or for example, it would be the Ward cards in Lorcana. If you can have this Aladdin being a 2 / 2 with Ward, so it can't be ever targeted except for challenges. And if you keep buffing this Aladdin to a 3 /3 or a 4 /4, it could start getting out of hand. The next piece of news isn't the biggest piece of news, but it is nice knowing little things like this. There was a convention center in France. Ravensburger was there with Lorcana stuff. At any convention that Lorcana has been at, they've had this pamphlet. They've been handing it out to people in the industry that they've been talking to. DSummon, from Mushu Reports, was able to actually find this pamphlet on a French Facebook website or from just some French person that was actually there. Most of the information in this pamphlet is just describing the product that's going to be released. It has dimensions, it has skew numbers, and it has blank images for all accessories because that has not been revealed yet. One of the neat things in this pamphlet is the last day local stores can order from distributors, and that is July 1st. That doesn't mean day after, on July 2nd, each local store will actually know how many products they will get for their store. But at least all local stores should know July 1st is the last day to order. And they will probably know that once they start talking to their distributor about ordering Lorcana product. It also shows that they'll be doing a bunch of digital online advertising campaigns, newsletters, social media banners, ads, etc... And they will also do a global press campaign working with a PR agency. And all of these ads will be global as well. And I think this is really cool to know just because they're not going to hopefully word of mouth will spread and everyone will start playing Lorcana. They're actually really trying to promote this product. And here's the last piece of news from Disney Lorcana this week. It's actually nothing crazy, and it's a nice little trivia tidbit. The code name for Disney Lorcana, when in development when they started in 2020 was Project Famous. And I hope this game becomes really famous. Now with all the news out of the way, we can get to the Glimmer Gallery section. And I do have to give credit to my fiancée, Brittany, for this section for the podcast. I asked her what kind of thing I should add into the podcast to make myself different from everyone else. She brought up the idea of the Glimmer Gallery section to bring one character a week and describe what they are. I was the one that thought of the name, but she thought of the idea. And it does tie back into one of our favorite podcasts we listen to, Myths and Legends, and they do a Creature of the week. And this is pretty much the same thing. On the last episode, for the Glimmer Gallery section, I didn't tie back Robin Hood, and it's Disney movie lore back into the card, and I'll try to remember to do that for future episodes. With Robin Hood, its ability to draw a card if you have less cards in your hand is a perfect example of stealing from the rich and give to the poor. With all that said, the Glimmer Gallery card for this week is Cruella De Vil. The movie Cruella De Vil is from Is. 101 Dalmatians. This movie was released on January 25, 1961. It has a runtime of 79 minutes, and it had a budget of 3.6 million, and it grossed roughly around $215 million. But I have seen a different grossing number of around 90 million. It has a rotten Tomatometer of 98% and an audience score of 76%. I do wonder why the audience score is a little bit lower than this Tomatometer. Maybe it might not hold up to what today's movies are. The movie summary is a "Disney animated classic. Pongo, a dalmatian, is tired of his bachelor dog life. He spies on lovely Perdita and maneuvers his master Roger, intermediating Perdita's owner Anita. The owners fall in love, and marry keeping Pongo and Perdita together as well. After Perdita gives birth to a litter of 15 puppies, Anita's old school friend Cruella De Vil wants to buy them all. Roger declines her offer, so Cruella hires the criminal Badun brothers to steal them so she can have a fur coat made from the Dalmatian's fur." There's actually been a ton of sequel and spin offs made off of the original 101 Dalmatians. Disney has taken many different directions with remakes, and one of the earliest endeavors was 101 Dalmatians for live action and none of the animals actually talked it was so well, they made 102 Dalmatians as well, which was released November 22, 2000. After the first live action film, they made a cartoon called 101 Dalmatians The series. 101 Dalmatians II Patch's London Adventure was the official sequel to the original animated film, which was released straight to DHS or DVD on January 21, 2003. In 2019, a second animated series was produced called 101 Dalmatian Street, and it served as a continuation of the original animated film involving the ventures of the modern day Pongo and Perdita and their stepsiblings in the modern day London. Lastly, the latest movie was Cruella, a live action prequel starring Emma Stone as Cruella De Vil, which was released on May 28, 2021. This movie was actually really good and I enjoyed it. It gave you a really nice background story on Cruella De Vil which made you feel sorry for her. Here are a few trivia piece of tidbits on 101 Dalmatians. According to a newspaper headline seen the morning after the puppy's theft, the bulk of the film takes place in November 1958. This is the second Disney animated film to take place in the time period on when it was created. The first goes to Dumbo. 101 Dalmatians has the most live action film adaptations of any Walt Disney animated studio film with 3. 101 Dalmatians, which was 1996, 102 Dalmatians, which was 2000, and Cruella, which was 2021. 101 Dalmatians received its own commercial with Givenchy, which I believe is a perfume company using the same hand drawn style as the movie featuring Perdita and Pongo with their Dalmatian puppies visiting the store. Now let's tie back to Disney Lorcana with Cruella De Vil's card. Cruella De Vil is a two cost with the flourish. Her full card name is Cruella De Vil - Miserable As Usual. She has one attack and three defense. She is Storyborn and a Cillain. Her ability is YOU'LL BE SORRY! When this character is challenged and banished, you may return chosen character to their player's hand. Its flavor text is, "When she stops by, Misery is company." She has one Lore pip to the right. The artist is Nicholas Cole. She set number 72 out of 204. And the rarity symbol looks like rare, which is the bronze triangle. With this card, it's kind of hard to tie it back into the movie itself, but I do like the idea that if you do something wrong to Cruella, or if you don't do what she wants, she will ruin something about you. So, for example, with how Cruella is, if you're knock her out or banish her, she can return a card to player's hand. And so if the card that knocks out Cruella, you can target it back and put it into your opponent's hand. Or, for example, you can return back your own card if you have a card that has a really good ability that activates when you enter the field, and you can re trigger that ability as well, since you'll bring back that card. With all that said about Cruella, I can start wrapping up this episode. As of right now, I will actually start doing one podcast episode every other week until we get some more substantial news and some more gameplay. Once we actually get the gameplay rules in Spring, I could reevaluate and start doing an episode once a week. This will help me not get burnt out. This will also help me make it so that I'm not scrapping the bottom of the barrel to find some news to actually talk about something. And with that to end, thank you for joining me on this Enlightened Illumineers podcast episode, and I hope you come back for more. You can find me personally @Cabled on all social media platforms. And you can find the podcast @enlumineers on all social media platforms. If you have any questions or comments or any feedback, please ask me or the podcast. My name is Trey 'Cabled'. I hope I have enlightened you with all Disney Lorcana news, and there'll be plenty more to come!
